Business offers lending solutions to doctors
Australia and New Zealand’s largest broker aggregator LMG has partnered with Avant Financial Services, formerly Kooyong Group, to offer diversified lending solutions to doctors.
Avant Financial Service is a national medical finance specialist business, and the partnership with LMG, which commenced this week, will reinforce LMG’s commitment to residential, asset, and commercial finance aggregation.
Avant Financial Services is a specialty area of Avant Mutual, a member-owned organisation that supports doctors in their professional and personal lives providing bespoke finance solutions tailored to doctors’ needs in the areas of practice, property and personal finance.
Avant has 26 brokers to assist doctors
With a team of 26 brokers and 17 support staff, Avant Financial Services is now also providing doctors access to new practice finance products including business equipment, motor vehicle, commercial property, fit-out and the purchase of goodwill loans.
LMG said the deal came after Avant Financial Services undertook a 12-month due-diligence process which, now the partnership is in place, will see the organisation benefit from LMG’s support, time-saving technology solutions, MyCRM business operating platform, strong training and coaching expertise and a shared commitment to customers.
Andrew Thompson (pictured above), LMG national director Loan Market and Partner, said it was privilege to welcome Avant Financial Services into the LMG family.
“At the heart of our partnership is a mutual commitment to delivering outstanding customer outcomes, ensuring that our leading diversification solutions in residential, asset and commercial finance cater to the unique needs of doctors,” Thompson said.
“We're thrilled to be able to help Avant further supersize their business and look forward to a long, strong partnership."
Avant attracted to LMG’s cybersecurity focus
Paul Freeman, CEO for Avant Financial Services said his team was incredibly excited to partner with LMG.
“Their reputation for customer innovation and progressive technology solutions, especially in cyber security, makes them the perfect fit for us,” Freeman said.
“This partnership will enable Avant Financial Services to scale our business more easily and streamline our customer experience.
“We look forward to continuing our growth and strengthening our diversified offering with LMG's support.”
While it’s a niche sector, there some brokerages that specialise in lending to the medical profession, such as Toni Stevens of brokerage MediCredi.
LMG’s partnerships are growing – late last year, LMG acquired Commercial Lending Excellence, a specialist commercial lending technology platform designed by commercial brokers for commercial brokers.
The acquisition is part of LMG's strategy to support commercial and asset finance brokers, and further support its residential brokers, looking to diversify.
