Former sales associate steps into expanded role to help strengthen broker relationships
Specialist SME lender Moula has named Nicholas Lim (pictured above) as its new business development manager, expanding its partner sales team to better serve brokers across Victoria and Tasmania.
Lim brings several years of experience in small business lending, particularly in managing cash flow solutions for SMEs. Originally from Singapore and Malaysia, he moved to Australia 10 years ago and has spent the last five years working in sales roles tailored to helping small businesses access finance. He joined Moula in 2022 as a sales associate, where he provided broker support via phone.
In his new role, he will focus on face-to-face engagement with brokers in the field. His promotion comes as the non-bank lender enhances its national sales operations, following leadership changes last year. Linette Laverdure and Peter Cutuli were both promoted to regional sales manager positions, further strengthening the company’s broker-facing capabilities.
