Users can manage payments, e-statements, personal details, and advanced authentication
Non-bank lender Resimac has introduced a new mobile application, enhancing its digital services by offering customers the ability to manage their loan accounts directly from their smartphones.
The app includes features such as the ability to make various payments, view and download e-statements, modify personal details, contact customer care, and manage security settings through multi-factor and biometric authentication. Users can also control their Resimac Visa debit cards within the app.
The development builds on the lender’s digital advancements, following the launch of the CustomerZone online platform in 2021. Resimac’s journey towards digital enhancement began almost four years ago, focusing on updating its business operations and digital interfaces.
Chris Paterson (pictured above), general manager of distribution at Resimac, emphasised the importance of mobile applications in meeting customer expectations and highlighted the near two-year development process behind the app, which is now available for all its customers to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
“We’ve made several significant changes to our technology stack over the last few years, including replacing our core application platforms and implementing a new digital loan origination system,” Paterson said.
“The new mobile app is the latest major initiative we’ve delivered, and it opens up a number of exciting possibilities. We’re already working on the next big feature upgrade, which is adding digital wallet functionality.”
