Non-bank lender Assetline Capital has announced its partnership with aggregator Specialist Finance Group (SFG), providing more brokers with short- and long-term finance options for their clients.

The partnership provides SFG’s network of more than 1,400 brokers with access to a broader range of lending products, including long-term mortgages, short-term private lending, consumer bridging, and construction and development finance.

Royden D’Vaz (pictured above left), general manager of distribution and partnerships at Assetline Capital, noted that the agreement comes at a time when borrowers are seeking greater flexibility.

“It’s a challenging market right now and clients are looking for choice,” he said. “We’re excited to bring SFG more options for their savvy brokers and customers. As a full-service lender, brokers will have the ability to help more customers and find more solutions all in one place.”

The partnership builds on a period of expansion for Assetline Capital. The lender has reported a 35% year-on-year increase in loan settlements for its bridging finance product, reflecting strong demand for short-term property finance. In November, it broadened its Horizon Mortgages offering, introducing long-term loans of up to $5 million for individual borrowers and extending eligibility to corporations, trusts, and self-managed super funds (SMSFs).

“We are very much looking forward to welcoming Assetline Capital to our panel and enjoying a wonderful partnership into the future,” said SFG general manager Blake Buchanan (pictured above right). “We look forward to partnering with Assetline to assist our members with leading financial solutions across the country.”

With a focus on broker education and engagement, Assetline Capital announced plans to offer training and support to SFG brokers who are new to its products.

“For some brokers it may be the first time working with us or on a loan type they’re not familiar with,” D’Vaz said. “Our sales teams across the country are on hand to guide them along the way. We encourage all SFG brokers to get accredited with us so they can access our full suite of lending solutions.”
