Nominations for the Australian Mortgage Awards reached a new record this year following another strong response from the industry.
In particular it was positive to see a strong number of entries for the two new categories introduced in 2016 – Aggregator of the Year (>500 Brokers) and Aggregator of the Year (<500 Brokers).
Tony MacRae, general manager Mortgage Broker Distribution for official event partner Westpac, offered his congratulations ahead of this year’s finalist announcement.
“Westpac is pleased to be returning in 2016 as the official event partner to the Australian Mortgage Awards. These awards provide an important opportunity for our industry to recognise those that have excelled throughout the year, consistently delivering great outcomes for our customers,” he said.
“Congratulations to everyone nominated and best of luck.”
The research process to determine this year’s finalists is currently underway. All finalists will be announced in issue 16.10 of MPA magazine as well as the official event website on Monday 12 September. Successful finalists will be notified prior to this.
The 15th annual Australian Mortgage Awards will be held at The Star Sydney on Friday 21 October. Over 670 mortgage and finance professionals attended last year’s event and with such a strong response to the call for entries this year, everyone planning to attend is encouraged to book their table early to avoid missing out.
