Learn which broker businesses performed at highest level
MPA has released its list of the Top Brokerages for 2024, showcasing Australian mortgage brokerages that are demonstrating both innovation and expertise.
These elite brokerages have distinguished themselves through strategies such as focusing on niche markets, enhancing the skills of their brokers and staff, and employing strategic planning.
Each of these businesses, however, shares a common goal: to be a reliable partner for their clients in the mortgage industry.
How MPA’s Top Brokerages 2024 list was selected
The Top Brokerages of 2024 were chosen based on submissions from Australian mortgage brokerages reporting their performance data for the period from January 1 to December 31, 2023.
The submission form collected information including the number of active brokers, the total value of the loan book, and the conversion rate.
To qualify, brokerages needed to have at least five loan writers in a single office located in Australia. Aggregator details provided by the applicants were verified to ensure accuracy.
The final rankings were determined by evaluating three main criteria:
- the size of the total loan book;
- the total number of settlements within the specified 12-month period; and
- the conversion rate.
Each brokerage received a ranking in these categories, and the combined scores were used to produce the overall list.

The 2024 Top Brokerages list is sponsored by Bankwest.

Top Brokerages for 2024
Taking out the No.1 spot in Top Brokerages for the second year in a row was Simplicity Loans & Advisory.
The last few years have proved hugely successful for the Sydney-based commercial finance brokerage.
Simplicity Loans & Advisory managing director and co-founder Jean-Pierre Gortan won Westpac Australian Broker of the Year at the 2023 Australian Mortgage Awards, as well as Top Commercial Broker for 2023.
Sales director Isabella Constantinou won Top Commercial Broker in 2022 and also the Young Professional Award and Commercial & Equipment Finance Broker Award at the 2024 MFAA NSW and ACT Excellence Awards.
