Bank Australia launches new loan origination system

Bank Australia has launched a new loan origination system in partnership with software solutions firm Cloudcase.

Through their partnership, the onboarding and origination processes for mortgages, personal loans, credit cards, and commercial loans will be streamlined for customers. Cloudcase’s platform will remove the manual touch points for Bank Australia’s lending team and will allow third-party data integration as well as automating the processes.

Bank Australia head of lending Martyn Norman (pictured left) said that the update served as an important milestone in the bank’s digital transformation program as well as a step towards giving its customers a loan experience that is packed with efficiency.

“Thanks to the partnership with Cloudcase on our loan origination system, we have improved the loan application process for customers through a tailored digital experience that makes it easier to transact, easier to get a loan and easier to connect with our Bank Australia team,” said Norman. “By providing a more efficient loan process, our new and existing customers can get loans funded faster. We have already had very positive feedback from customers and our lending team on our new platform.”

Roger Manu (pictured right), Cloudcase’s CEO, said that the distinct features of the platform will help Bank Australia with its customer-focused approach while also facilitating efficient processes and seamless integration with its core banking system.

“Our platform’s unique blend of simplicity, speed, and efficiency will help streamline the loan process for Bank Australia customers in a quickly changing lending sector,” said Manu. “Providing a great stakeholder experience, that is unique to Bank Australia, is at the core of what Cloudcase does.”
