The Bank of Sydney has announced the appointment of Sam Tomaras (pictured) as the new head of home lending and broker distribution.
Tomaras brings a wealth of experience in the banking sector, particularly in residential lending, where he has a track record in successfully developing new acquisition strategies across various distribution channels. His previous roles have included key positions at Westpac, St. George Bank, GE Money, and HSBC.
“I am looking forward to working with the team, customers, and brokers to develop strong relationships, create positive experiences and pleasing outcomes,” Tomaras said.
Huw Bough, chief retail banking officer at Bank of Sydney, expressed his confidence in Tomaras’ appointment, citing his extensive experience in new lending acquisition and business growth through partnerships.
