He has over three decades of experience in risk management
The Bank of Sydney has appointed Kieran McKenna (pictured) as its new chief risk officer.
McKenna has more than three decades of risk management experience. He previously held positions including chief risk officer at Cuscal, general manager of business risk for the retail division at Commonwealth Bank, and head of risk for retail (and wealth) at Westpac Group, in addition to various risk manager roles within the ASX.
“I am excited to welcome Kieran to the Bank of Sydney,” said Melos Sulicich, the bank’s chief executive. “Kieran’s extensive experience in risk management will bring great strength to the bank, positioning us for greater success in navigating the complexities in today’s dynamic financial environment.”
McKenna said he was excited to join the Bank of Sydney, and was looking forward to working with the team to further strengthen the risk culture and functions of the bank.
