I lead a team of broker development managers and work alongside our credit policy team looking for new opportunities to implement.

What’s a goal that you aim to achieve in your role?

Delivering enhancements to Bankwest policies to make it simpler for brokers and their customers to work with Bankwest and the credit teams.

What’s your favourite part of the job?
I love that no day is the same, every day is unique and creates a new opportunity.

What sets successful brokers apart?
The most successful brokers I see thoroughly understand that the customer is the heart of everything we do and develop their processes accordingly.

What should brokers expect from their state manager or BDMs?
Brokers should be asking for responsiveness, trust and confidence. This is something that our Bankwest team prides ourselves on.

What do you provide to brokers that makes you valuable to them?
What makes the Bankwest team valuable to brokers are those exact three things: responsiveness, trust and confidence. If a broker workshops a deal then they know what we say will get done.

Describe your ideal weekend:
Nothing better than the smell of fresh cut grass when I pull up to Macquarie Links Golf Club on a Saturday morning around 6am.

After that, straight into some fitness or games down at the park with my two boys, followed by a big thick steak on the BBQ with the family in the evening.
