How often do you see brokers in a week?
I am a Relationship Manager so I’m mainly desk bound, although I still attend personal development days and networking events and small catch ups a few times a week.
What do brokers want most from you?
Customer Service and quick turnarounds. I always try get back to brokers the same day, as I know they appreciate it.
What is your favourite part of the job?
It’s a rewarding feeling when both you and the broker have worked hard to fit a deal and make sure it’s going to benefit the clients.
What distinguishes the best brokers you deal with?
Brokers who understand what a client’s financial position is and take the time to present the deal as strong as they can. It’s always good when they provide the necessary info upfront.
Describe your ideal weekend
I love a weekend away camping and fishing. Margaret River in WA is always first preference for weekends away.
What’s the strangest lending scenario you’ve ever encountered?
It would probably be first home owners who each worked four jobs each!! Hats off to them!
How do you like your steak done?
I love a good medium cooked steak with mushroom sauce!
