Bluestone Home Loans has welcomed Leith Wickstein as its new state manager for Victoria and Tasmania – a strategic move the lender said will fortify its position in non-standard lending and provide enhanced support to brokers and customers across these key regions.
Wickstein (pictured above), a seasoned broker channel operator, brings a wealth of experience to Bluestone, drawing on his extensive history in the lending industry. Formerly leading the team at Vow Financial, Leith’s expertise extends nationally, having worked with renowned aggregators like Connective and Choice.
Throughout his career, Wickstein has cultivated strong relationships with brokers, BDMs, and state managers, earning him recognition in Victoria, Tasmania, and South Australia. He is also an advocate for broker education and efficient broker-aggregator workflows.
“Someone like Leith is perfect to take Bluestone to the next level within Victoria and Tasmania,” said Tony MacRae, chief commercial officer at Bluestone. “His extensive background with aggregators aligns seamlessly with our mission as the ‘go-to’ non-standard lender for brokers. Leith’s expertise will enable us to work effectively with all our partners, ultimately facilitating more successful client deals.”
In a statement, Bluestone said Wickstein’s addition aligns strategically with the non-bank’s commitment to service quality and operational excellence.
Wickstein shared his enthusiasm about his new role with Bluestone and said he was looking forward to continued growth with broker partners.
“This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to and shape the future of lending in Victoria and Tasmania, and I am committed to leveraging my experience to enhance our partnerships and drive success in these markets," he said.
Recently, Bluestone announced Rob Westgarth’s appointment as head of originations.
