Here are the best performing banks as chosen by brokers
Brokers are crucial to the success of Australian banks, with two out of three home loans now written by the third-party channel.
Banks realise they need brokers and now MPA can reveal what brokers across the nation think of banks and how their products, service and support stack up with the results of the 2022 Brokers on Banks out now.
For the Brokers on Banks survey, brokers were asked to rate banks’ performance in the last 12 months across 10 criteria: credit policy; brand trust, communications, training and development; commission structure; diversification opportunities; turnaround times; online platform and services; interest rates; BDM support; and product range.
The bank with the highest average rating across all these categories was crowned the best bank of 2022.
In addition, brokers were also asked other questions about their relationship with banks, covering topics such as channel conflict, responsible lending laws, the impact of COVID-19, products and pricing and which banks brokers had given more business to and why.
