Parth Shah, of Jabsons Finance, on how he offers a good home-buying experience to his clients
Parth Shah, the founder of Jabsons Finance, believes in building long-term business relationships by providing tailor-made solutions and good home loan options to his clients. His company’s priority is to bring banks to clients so the latter can have competitive choices. Being in MPA’s Top 100 Brokers list is an honour which he said is due to his consistent dedication to his business, especially over the past year.
“I have stayed away from the ‘shiny object syndrome’. I was 100% focused on my business and, as a result, we have achieved some great numbers. Personally, I have invested so much time in structuring my clients’ mortgages in a way that [works for them and has a low interest rate]. We have got lots of repeat business from our clients, plus they have referred their friends and family. So, that is on a personal level, on a team level,” he said.
Like most businesses, Jabsons Finance had to deal with long pandemic-related lockdowns in Victoria, which prevented Shah and his team from having face-to-face meetings with their clients.
“My team was working remotely and I’m very old school, so I prefer to see people face to face and generate business that way,” he explained. “And we were sort of a very small team based in the office. So, it was very challenging for me to learn about the new technology and system.”
Nevertheless, the team was able to learn and apply new ways of working, which enabled them to continue serving their clients well.
Even with 10 years of work experience in sales and retention, Shah does not consider himself as having a finance background. He is in the mortgage industry, he said, so that others would not go through the same difficult experience he had when organising his own home loan. This purpose is aligned with Jabsons Finance’s goal to provide clients a stress-free and exciting time when buying their first home or investment property.
For him, being in the Top 100 Brokers list validates the choice of clients who trust Jabsons Finance as their mortgage broker.
