It adds another four years to their relationship
The Collingwood Football Club has extended its partnership with La Trobe Financial for a further four years.
This year marks the 16th year of partnership between Collingwood and La Trobe Financial, and this latest development will extend their relationship to at least the end of 2027, bringing their commitment to 20 years.
The partnership extension was announced yesterday morning with AFL vice-captain Brayden Maynard, La Trobe Financial CEO Chris Andrews, Collingwood coach Craig McRae, Collingwood president Jeff Browne (pictured above from left to right), and Collingwood CEO Craig Kelly in attendance.
La Trobe Financial, a non-bank lender and alternative asset manager with more than 70 years of proven credit management, first signed on as a corporate partner of the AFL club in 2007, then became Collingwood’s official financial services premier partner in 2015.
As the club’s official premier partner, La Trobe Financial also provides an exclusive offer on the 12-month term account of the La Trobe Australian Credit Fund to Collingwood members and supporters.
“We look forward to the next four years of our successful partnership with La Trobe Financial and we thank Chris Andrews and his team for their long-standing commitment to our club,” Browne said. “We are proud of our partnership so far and are excited at the prospect of how our partnership will grow and innovate into the future.”
Andrews (pictured below) said he also looked forward to continuing the partnership with the club.
“Since our partnership began in 2007, our relationship with Collingwood Football Club has grown and developed into one of the strongest in Australian sport and we express our gratitude to Jeff Browne, Craig Kelly, Craig Mcrae, and the entire Collingwood Football Club family for their partnership,” Andrews said. “Together, we share a passion for bringing people together and it is this shared value that has been the foundation of our successful journey together.
“Just like the club’s motto, ‘Side by Side,’ we are proud to stand alongside the Magpie Army as a dedicated partner and we look forward to the next chapter of our partnership with the Collingwood Football Club.”
