New series delivers practical business strategies and industry insights for brokers

Mortgage aggregator LMG has introduced Broker Bulletin, a new podcast aimed at mortgage brokers, providing real-world leadership insights, business strategies, and industry perspectives in a format suited to their schedules.
Expanding on the success of the Broker Bulletin newsletter, which has over 12,000 subscribers, the podcast features experienced brokers and industry experts discussing strategies that are working in their businesses. Each episode is designed to offer actionable insights brokers can implement immediately.
According to Lisa Jackson (pictured above), executive manager of chief operating office and communications at LMG, the podcast offers an accessible way for brokers to learn from their peers.
“Brokers have a lot to juggle and had told us they wanted a way to be able to stay up-to-date on winning strategies and leadership tips while on-the-go,” Jackson said. “This isn’t a news update or market wrap – there are already great sources for that. Broker Bulletin is about hearing directly from brokers and experts sharing what’s actually working in their business right now. These are strategies and ideas that help brokers solve real problems and find innovative new ways to grow.”
Jackson added that brokers are open to sharing their success strategies, and the podcast extends those conversations to a wider audience.
“Whether brokers and their teams are driving to an appointment, making a coffee, or heading out for a walk, they can pick up an idea that could make a real and immediate difference in their business,” she said.
Each week, Broker Bulletin covers topics such as business growth, lead generation, client retention, market trends, and operational efficiency. The first four episodes are now available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other major streaming platforms.
The debut episode explores why a strong business strategy is critical, with Loan Market associate director Alberto Gorgioski outlining how brokers can develop an effective plan. Another episode features Loan Market chief executive David McQueen and LMG’s Jackson, who discuss the tools and mindset shifts brokers need to succeed in 2025.
Efficiency is also a key theme, with Loan Market broker Alan Walker sharing how he scaled his business from $10,000 to $40,000 in monthly settlements by focusing on small operational improvements. In another episode, Ray White chief economist Nerida Conisbee provides insight into the economic and policy trends expected to shape the property market this year.
Podcasts continue to grow as a preferred medium for professional development. According to the 2024 PodPoll survey, 60% of Australians aged 25 to 34 regularly listen to podcasts, with 56% of Millennials (25–40) and 38% of Gen Xers (41–56) also tuning in frequently.
