He will lead the company's technology strategy
Nationwise Group, the parent company of Viking Aggregation, has appointed Adrian Cunningham (pictured above) to the newly created role of chief customer and information officer.
Cunningham brings over two decades of experience in the financial services sector. His career includes significant roles at National Australia Bank (NAB), where he worked across multiple third-party channels including NAB Broker, NAB Wealth, and Advantedge. He also played a central role in relaunching Virgin Money Home Loans into the Australian mortgage market.
Cunningham has also held key leadership positions with fintech lenders Prospa and Finstro, and most recently headed the customer experience and general insurance divisions at broker group Lending Association.
In his new role, Cunningham will lead the company’s technology strategy, focusing on technology enablement to provide data insights for Viking’s brokers to help grow their businesses.
“Adrian’s extensive experience in financial services and his track record of growing businesses make him an ideal fit for this integral role,” said Rob Ryan, chief operating officer of Nationwise. “His fintech expertise together with his dedication to delivering customer insights will be instrumental in driving our strategic growth initiatives for Viking and for our brokers.”
“I am thrilled to join this dynamic team at a pivotal moment in our company’s growth,” Cunningham said. “Together, we will leverage cutting-edge technology and customer insights to redefine the future of aggregation, delivering unparalleled value to our partners and their clients.”
Cath Ryan, general manager of Viking Commercial, said they, too, were excited to welcome Cunningham on board to provide their new aggregation offering “with data led solutions to deliver growth opportunities for our brokers.”
“Adrian’s expertise further strengthens our leadership team and supports our strategy to position ourselves as the aggregator of choice for high performing and aspirational broking businesses,” said James Angus, general manager of Residential Aggregation.
