Top aggregators will now be recognised at the Australian Mortgage Awards
The industry’s biggest awards have just got bigger, with the addition of two new awards recognising the best aggregators. Aggregator of the Year (>500 brokers) and Aggregator of the Year (<500 brokers) will recognise larger and smaller aggregators respectively.
Criteria for these categories include accuracy and timeliness in commission payment, quality of lending panel, IT and CRM support, broker communication, BDM support, compliance support, training and education and lead generation.
Whilst the event this October will be the 15th annual Australian Mortgage Awards, this is the first year aggregators as organisations have had the opportunity to take part in the awards; there has been an award for Best Aggregator BDM for several years.
“The decision to introduce two new awards came about because the definition of what an aggregator does has expanded considerably in recent years,” said Justin Kennedy, managing director APAC at Key Media, which organises the AMAs.
“Aggregators are no longer simply the link between brokers and banks; they’re technology companies, business development coaches and, through white label products, aggregators are becoming lenders.”
As with the other award categories, nominations can be submitted online via the AMAs website. More information on the methodology is available here.
The 15th annual AMAs will be held at The Star Sydney on Friday 21st October. For details and to nominate, visit www.australianmortgageawards.com.au. The cut-off date for nominations is Friday 24th June.
