MFAA members can nominate themselves or others exemplifying professionalism and excellence
The Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) has opened nominations for its 2025 Excellence Awards, recognising top performers across the mortgage and finance industry.
The MFAA Excellence Awards, running for more than 22 years, are among the industry’s longest-standing accolades. Open to all MFAA members, the awards highlight outstanding achievements by individuals, businesses, and lenders, with categories spanning all Australian states and territories. Winners will be honoured at the National Excellence Awards in Melbourne in July 2025.
MFAA chief executive Anja Pannek (pictured above) encouraged members to participate, emphasising the significance of the awards in recognising excellence during a challenging period for the industry.
“Over the past 12 months, MFAA members have continued to provide exceptional support, service and guidance to Australian consumers and business owners in the midst of challenging economic conditions,” Pannek said. “The 2025 MFAA Excellence Awards are a fantastic opportunity for our members to be recognised for reaching the pinnacle of industry achievement.”
Nominations officially opened on Dec. 10. Members can nominate themselves or others who demonstrate professionalism and outstanding performance. Formal submissions will open on Jan. 2 and close on Feb. 18. Entry kits, detailing submission requirements and category criteria, are now available on the MFAA website.
Submissions will be assessed by an independent panel of judges, with auditing conducted by Hall Chadwick to ensure fairness. Lender awards will be determined exclusively by member voting, which is also audited by Hall Chadwick.
