Prospa add two new recruits who are hoping to take Prospa to new heights
Prospa has further strengthened its team with two new appointments within its Queensland team.
Simon Winters has been appointed State Manager for Queensland, having previously held the role of Senior Business Development Manager (BDM), and Goncalo Almeida has joined Clare Gallimore in the Queensland team as a new BDM.
Simon will lead the expanding Queensland team and will be responsible for building and leveraging new and existing partnerships with brokers across the State. Simon is based in Brisbane and before joining Prospa in 2016, held roles at Gateway Credit Union, Suncorp and Citi.
Goncalo will focus on supporting Prospa’s rapidly growing partner network in Queensland, helping brokers leverage Prospa’s marketing and education tools and deliver cash flow products and services that enable small businesses to prosper. He has previously worked for American Express and GE Capital.
Beau Bertoli, co-founder and joint CEO of Prospa said Simon has played an integral role in building Prospa’s partner network, with strong relationships, a passion for small business, and commitment to delivering great customer experiences for partners and their small business clients.
He’s been recognised by the industry numerous times, receiving the FBAA National BDM of the Year Award in 2019 and the MFAA BDM Award for Queensland in 2018. We’re thrilled he is stepping into this new position to support Prospa’s growth in Queensland,” he said.
“It’s exciting to be expanding our support for the Queensland broker community and to take this next step in my career,” Simon Winters, State Manager for Queensland at Prospa said.
“I’m looking forward to adding even greater value to our partner network and to helping more brokers out there uncover the opportunities in small business lending. I really encourage Queensland brokers to get in touch and learn how we can help them grow their business.”
