Lender commits to three-year extension, making it the longest major partnership in club history

Self-employed specialist lender RedZed has extended its partnership with the Melbourne Storm for another three years, securing the longest-running major sponsorship in the club’s history.
The agreement, announced at a press conference at AAMI Park, will keep the RedZed logo on the Storm’s jersey until the end of the 2028 NRL season. The lender first partnered with the club in 2020.
To mark the extension and the start of the 2025 NRL season, RedZed will distribute 15,000 rally towels to fans attending the Round 1 match against the Parramatta Eels at AAMI Park. Additionally, one fan at the game will win a $5,000 cash prize, to be announced at halftime.
Melbourne Storm, established in 1998, has been one of the NRL’s most successful teams, reaching 11 grand finals and missing the finals only three times in its 25-year history.

RedZed managing director Calvin Cordle (pictured above, centre) said the extended partnership reflects shared values between the lender and the club.
“Since becoming the club’s major partner in 2020, we’ve shared some incredible moments — two grand final appearances and a premiership win — while also standing together through the challenges of COVID,” Cordle said.
“Our partnership continues to be successful because we share similar values and a like-minded culture. RedZed values integrity, courage, effort, and respect — qualities that Storm exemplifies on and off the field. These same principles drive self-employed Australians and small business owners, the people we are proud to support at RedZed.”
Established in 2006, RedZed provides self-employed Australians with residential, commercial, and SMSF loans. The lender has funded over $10 billion in loans to more than 25,000 customers. Since 2020, it has supported Melbourne Storm through various initiatives, including community programs, professional development events, and fan engagement activities. The company has also contributed over $100,000 to charities affiliated with the club.

Melbourne Storm chief executive Justin Rodski (pictured above, far right) welcomed the renewed partnership, highlighting its impact on the club’s success.
“Their support has been outstanding in helping us achieve sustained success both on and off the field, and we’re immensely proud of the strength of the relationship and the initiatives we have delivered together,” Rodski said.
“Having their support over the last six years has been incredible; we’ve tackled some great challenges and enjoyed some special moments together. We look forward to what we can achieve over the next three years in what is fast becoming one of the most successful partnerships in our sport.”
