Australia’s top mortgage brokers have collectively facilitated $16.6 billion in home loans during the 12 months ending June 30, 2024, according to the MPA Top 100 Mortgage Brokers report.
The report underscores the ongoing demand for housing finance despite challenges in the economic and lending environment.
Selection process for MPA’s 2024 Top 100 Mortgage Brokers list
The annual ranking is based on submissions from brokers, who provide the total value of loans settled during the financial year.
Rankings are determined by the value of loans written between July 1, 2023, and June 30, 2024, with additional insights on the average loan size and number of settlements also considered.
The report is sponsored by Commonwealth Bank, which has long supported mortgage brokers as a critical link between borrowers and lenders.
Razia Khan, general manager of third party banking at Commonwealth Bank, highlighted the role of brokers in navigating clients through an evolving market.
