Sabrina Huang's knowledge and dedication have made her one of Australia's top young brokers
Sabrina Huang, director and mortgage broker at Smart Mortgage, has amassed extensive knowledge of residential, commercial and development lending during her more than seven years of financial services experience. It’s that knowledge that helped Huang land a spot on MPA’s 2022 Rising Stars list.
Huang is a results-oriented broker, constantly seeking new and better ways to improve processes and enhance her team’s standards of service delivery and productivity. She said that a broker needs a wide range of skills and an understanding of customers to bridge the gap between the client and the bank and achieve win-win results.
Huang said she was dedicated to empowering clients so that they could make informed decisions relevant to their financial goals. She makes sure to go the extra mile to help her clients find the right financial solutions and provide them with consistent service. It’s that focus on client service that helps Huang establish enduring relationships with customers.
It’s also earned her recognition. Huang was named Smart Mortgage’s Broker of the Year in 2021, and her team was named the company’s best-performing mortgage team the same year.

Huang has a master’s degree in commerce with a double major in finance and accounting.
MPA’s Rising Stars list celebrates young brokers who are shaking up the industry. In order to be considered for the 2022 Rising Stars list, brokers had to be aged 35 or under, have written more than $15 million in loans between Oct. 1, 2020 and Sept. 30, 2021, and have served as an accredited broker for no more than two years at the time of nomination. After reviewing all entries, MPA narrowed the list down to 25 young brokers who had made the most significant impact on the industry through their financial results, determination, and drive.
