Thinktank Property Finance ends the year with charity donations

Thinktank Property Finance has marked the end of 2024 with a Christmas gift-giving program for its brokers that had them donate to charities in need.

In lieu of the brokers receiving hampers, Thinktank donated $100 on their behalf to charities in need, which they had a chance to choose from. Their choices were between charitable organizations like the Salvation Army, Foodbank, RSPCA, and Variety. This allowed brokers to directly contribute to the organizations that they personally cared about.

Smart Lending broker Melissa Gielnik expressed her appreciation for the initiative.

“As a broker, I get lots of hampers, so I really appreciate Thinktank doing something a bit different. I was thrilled to have the option of donating to Foodbank, especially since my team and I volunteered there last week,” said Gielnik.

Adding to the donations of its brokers, Thinktank also pledged to donate $100 more for every settled deal to the charities that were selected by the members of its team. This eventually led to the firm donating more than $250,000 to 34 different charities in 2024.

Speaking on the initiative, Thinktank CEO Jonathan Street expressed the importance of charitable works for the company’s ethos.

“Charitable giving is part of the fabric of who we are as a business. It links very clearly to our values, and our ethos: Into people. Not just transactions. We believe very strongly in helping those in need and contributing to the improvement and enrichment of the lives of others and the communities in which we live,” said Street.

Thinktank has also been working with its key charity partners such as Good Return, which enables women and their families all over the Asia Pacific region to access opportunities and build their financial security; Foodbank, which feeds people in need everyday in Australia; and Pass It On Clothing, which gives used clothing directly to the hands of people who may need it more.
