Broker education sales manager leads stakeholder engagement

LMG's Brokerversity reaches 50,000 completed modules

In a significant achievement for LMG’s digital education platform, Brokerversity has seen 50,000 learning modules completed six months after its relaunch.

Reimagined at the start of 2024, Brokerversity is an interactive digital platform that allows users to acquire vital skills at their own pace. It has attracted over 1,000 new users each month.

Brokerversity offers a range of courses, including micro-courses in cyber safety and marketing, alongside qualifications such as the Certificate IV in Mortgage Broking and Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking Management. To date, 106 individuals have graduated or are currently studying for these qualifications.

LMG has appointed recruitment specialist Taylor Giannis (pictured above left) as broker education sales manager to lead stakeholder engagement in the courses. Giannis, who is also part of LMG’s TalentForce division, places Brokerversity graduates into Loan Market and LMG Partner businesses.

LMG’s national director of broker education, Louise Rainger (pictured above right), attributes Brokerversity’s popularity to its broker-developed content and curricula. The platform has seen equal uptake from both qualified brokers and PAYG staff, such as client support managers and credit analysts.

“Brokerversity was designed for the next generation of brokers, offering engaging and relevant content and education,” Rainger said. “It goes beyond theory to explore real-world scenarios, which business owners have been requesting. Existing brokers also appreciate the self-paced format, allowing them to refresh their skills and diversify their service offerings.”

Brokerversity offers 66 different courses, comprising more than 480 lessons. Course lengths vary based on content depth, with intensive courses such as mastering ApplyOnline or Self-Managed Super Fund lending, and shorter courses focused on time-saving tools like SmartData.

“Creating functionality that allows users to learn at their own pace has been very popular,” Rainger said. “Even if users only have a 15- or 20-minute window, they can still find a valuable lesson to complete.”

Brokerversity also enables users to track their CPD points within their accounts.
