James Harrison: The new mortgage rules are terrible for all. Every deal takes two to three times longer. The new changes are not in the clients’ best interests, as they are almost forced to go to the banks based on pricing – especially for those purchasing property for over $1 million, even though the bank five-year fixed product is terrible for them.
