For Jessica Rickerby, being a woman in the mortgage industry isn’t as much of a challenge as running a business. As Martel Mortgages’ VP of operations and managing partner, as well as a mortgage agent, she plays a dual role in her business, which gives her exposure to a diverse group of people and mindsets.
Rickerby’s approach to clients is to support and educate them on how a mortgage works and provide them with options. In this capacity, she is a go-to for everyone in her circle, from clients to peers in the industry.
