As president of her own firm, Sarah Albert is motivated by the fact her company and its ilk are transforming an industry that badly needed it by reaching younger Canadians who are finding it increasingly difficult to buy homes.
“Personally, my favourite part of the job is the disruption to the industry – the fact that we have an opportunity to change how Canadians obtain a mortgage and how much they pay,” she says. “As mortgage brokers, it does feel like some days we are David against Goliath, but that is a challenge I welcome.”
