Well-known industry exec joins the bank's team
Haventree Bank has officially named Susan Thomas as its new vice president of sales. In a LinkedIn post, the bank lauded Thomas’s robust background in finance and a track record of effective leadership.

Thomas brings to the team decades of experience in the financial sector, particularly in leadership roles where she developed a reputation for driving successful teams and implementing innovative strategies. Her role at Haventree will focus on overseeing sales operations and spearheading initiatives that align with the bank’s commitment to innovation and excellence in service to mortgage brokers and their clients.
Thomas expressed enthusiasm about her new position and the direction of the company. “I am thrilled to be part of the team at Haventree Bank,” she said. “It is an exciting time as we undergo a digital transformation, benefitting mortgage brokers with an array of new products and services for their clients. Thomas is a four-time winner of CMP’s Women of Influence Award. She has over 35 years of experience in retail banking, including branch management, investments, and financial planning. She is a board member of Mortgage Professionals Canada, the national association representing Canada’s mortgage industry. Prior to joining Haventree Bank, she was the executive vice president for network development at M3 Financial Group.
