HomeEquity Bank has named financial expert and media personality Pattie Lovett-Reid as its first chief financial commentator.
In her role, Lovett-Reid will provide homeowners aged 55 and up commentary on retirement topics by authoring original blog content, hosting webinars, and acting as a spokesperson for the company.

Lovett-Reid brings a wealth of financial experience from her time as a banker, certified financial planner, and bestselling author. She is most known for being a regular guest on BNN Bloomberg and a host of the Pattie Lovett-Reid Show. In addition to her show, she also talked about the market, the economy and personal finance on the various CTV properties.

Prior to joining HomeEquity Bank, Lovett-Reid served as the chief financial commentator at CTV News, coaching viewers on how to make the most out of their hard-earned money since 2013. She started her career in TD Bank where she served as senior vice president.

She was also recognized as Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award in the Trailblazers and Trendsetters category in 2007 and received the Donald J. Johnston Award for her contribution to the financial planning profession in 2009.
