FSRA names new Stakeholder Advisory Committee members

The Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) has announced the appointment of new members to its Stakeholder Advisory Committees (SAC), including the mortgage brokering SAC. The new members will serve a two-year term starting in September and ending in 2026.

These committees are expected to provide insights and advice to the FSRA and its board to help shape policies and initiatives that will impact Ontario's financial services sector.

As for the mortgage SAC, the members will advise the board on FSRA's priorities and budget, and other subjects the board deems appropriate, as they relate to the mortgage broking sector.

“We are grateful for the overwhelming response to our public call for applications,” said Stephen Power, interim CEO, FSRA.

“The dedication and passion demonstrated by all applicants are truly commendable. Your willingness to contribute your expertise is vital to the ongoing success and evolution of our regulatory efforts.”
