New executive to begin role in Vancouver in early February
CMLS Financial has appointed Jessica Toppazzini as vice president and managing director of Western Canada.
Toppazzini, who brings more than a decade of experience in commercial real estate, will officially join the company in Vancouver on February 5th.
On CMLS's LinkedIn page, the company acknowledged Toppazzini's commitment to delivering innovative, result-driven solutions that makes her a valuable addition to the leadership team.
"With over a decade of experience in commercial real estate, Jessica has a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives, building high-performing teams, and fostering strong client relationships," the CMLS post read.
"This new role is an incredible opportunity to work with a dynamic team that shares my passion for innovation, collaboration, and delivering meaningful results in the commercial real estate space," Toppazzini responded on her own LinkedIn page.
Toppazzini has held several key positions in the real estate sector, most recently serving as managing director and principal at Avison Young, where she led the Vancouver office. Her role involved driving strategic growth, fostering client relationships, and mentoring the team.
Prior to this, she was senior vice president and practice leader for British Columbia at Avison Young, overseeing the growth of the company's valuation and advisory services practice in the region.
She has also worked as a commercial real estate appraiser and partner at Garnett Wilson Realty Advisors Ltd., where she was involved in all aspects of commercial appraisal and consulting.
Toppazzini’s career has been marked by numerous recognitions, including being named a recipient of the 2024 BIV Forty Under 40 Award, which highlights business and community achievements in British Columbia. In 2023, she was honoured with the Canadian Women in Real Estate Award by Connect CRE. She was also named a Top Appraiser Under 40 by the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2021.
Founded in 1974, CMLS Financial is a capital solutions provider for property owners, developers, and real estate investors.
