Canadian Mortgage Professional was recognized as one of the country’s best online print publications at the Canadian Online Publishing Awards
Masthead online hosted the annual Canadian Online Publishing Awards Thursday night in Toronto, and CMP Magazine was recognized as one of the best B2B publications in the country – winning a silver in its category for best online magazine.
“The award was for CMP’s digital magazine and a nod to its redesign, diverse news coverage and features,” Vernon Jones, editorial director for KMI Media, said. “Well done, Justin da Rosa, Trevor Biggs and the rest of the CMP team.”
KMI Media, the publisher of MortgageBrokerNews.ca and CMP, took home two honours in total that night, with CMP’s sister publication, Insurance Business, taking home silver honours in the best online campaign for its work with client RSA.
“That initiative, now in its second year, is led by Trevor Biggs and executed – from its web features to its online video reports – by Don Horne,” Jones said.
MortgageBrokerNews.ca was a finalist for best news coverage as well.
The COPAs are an annual awards show that honours the top in digital journalism. They feature 14 categories – including best blog, best video content, and best interactive story – and are judged by 79 of the industry’s leading professionals.
