Great Gulf is to build the 443-units in 22 and 24 storey towers subject to city approval. The East Village project will be Great Gulf’s first residential development in Calgary but the firm’s president Christopher Wein told the Calgary Herald that he believes the city “has got a very dynamic, exciting downtown that is going to continue to grow and continue to attract lots of young professionals both from within Canada and immigrants coming from overseas.”
