MAC to offer originations software outside network

Mortgage Alliance is now targeting unaffiliated brokers as potential customers for its proprietary originations software, MortgageBOSS.

“This is a logical evolution based on the results and testimonials we’ve received from our own network.” said Michael Beckette, president and CEO.  “We invested millions of dollars to develop a completely integrated system that assists a mortgage professional to run a more customer centric business.”

MortgageBOSS, designed from the ground up, is billed as a one-stop shop for mortgage brokers, with its own software and user format incorporated into a complete business dashboard. It is meant to steward the broker from that first meeting with a lead through the mortgage application process, with its built-in Lender Logic, and on to a funded and paid deal and, eventually, referrals, refinances and renewals.  It also syncs with D + H Expert.

Mortgage Alliance is betting those features will appeal to the hundreds of brokers, and their agents, working outside one of the established broker networks and looking to sign a license agreement for originations software that can be adapt to their specific needs, said Christa Mitchell, sales manager for MAC.

“The target audience or customers are brokers looking for a comprehensive system to manage their business,” she told MortgageBrokerNews.ca. “All of the features in MortgageBOSS should attract the converts: its CRM, reporting, commission payment, expense management,  personal organizer, document storage, and so much more. It's truly everything a broker needs to run their day-to-day business.”

Mortgage Alliance is also floating the idea of eventually releasing the software to both American and European markets in the “near future,” even as it continues to use ongoing user feedback to tweak and improve it.

“We always believed flexible and scalable CRM, commission payment, expense management, real time reporting and work flow technology for brokers supports the continued development of the mortgage brokerage industry,” said Beckette.

His announcement comes as other networks move to enhance their own branded originations software, a way of meeting the evolving needs of both brokers and agents as well as the growing desire of clients to remain in the loop throughout the submission and evaluation process.
