Montreal high-end development officially begins construction

Work on a 44-storey high-end development in Montreal has officially begun this week, with around $100 million worth of units already having been sold.

QMD-Ménard Consortium, Banque Nationale du Canada, and other major stakeholders have announced the construction of the 339-unit Solstice Montréal, located at de la Montagne Street, south of René-Lévesque.

The building will be designed by NEUF architect(e)s, and is slated to feature a red brick base along with an elegant glass tower. Also to be included are an exclusive owners’ lounge, an indoor pool, physical activity areas, electric vehicle stations, and many other amenities.

“With the team in place, we are joining forces to build Solstice Montréal. I know it will confirm Montreal’s architectural prominence and our expertise in delivering a luxurious project, with human-scale details,” QMD-Ménard Consortium vice president of development Michel Guilbault said.

“It is simply a dream to work on this project. People who already have bought a unit tell us that there is a completely different feel to it. We are building a community of people who truly appreciate Montréal’s lifestyle: here we live fast, work hard, travel yet we want a home that feels like home, where we can take care of ourselves,” Solstice Montréal project sales director Patrick Moreau stated.

“All that the project has to offer will help the residents keep a balanced lifestyle. Solstice Montréal is a perfect match for a community of like-minded individuals with epicurean tastes who appreciate the finer things in life.”
