New Montreal condo project breaks ground

The team of Cadillac Fairview, Canderel and the Club de hockey Canadien has announced the construction of the third phase of Tour des Canadiens 3 (TDC3).

Having posted a record speed for sales, the next project in Quad Windsor is projected to be one of the tallest in Montreal, and among the most important developments in the increasingly mixed-use downtown core, “which is expected to draw close to 6,000 new residents and 6,500 new workers within the next 10 years.”

TDC3 residents will have direct access to the metro, RESO, commuter trains, Tour Deloitte, and Centre Bell via an skybridge. They will also be directly connected to the recently announced Réseau express métropolitain, Montreal’s new $6.3-billion light rail transit network which is slated to begin service Summer 2021.

The third phase will introduce 12 townhouses located on the south side of the tower facing the City of Montreal's new 2-acre urban park. TDC3’s 565 new units are available in multiple configurations; varieties include one bedroom, one bedroom and den, two bedrooms, two bedrooms and den, three bedrooms, and penthouses.

Unit costs range from $358,990 for one-bedrooms to $1.87 million for the Penthouse Collection.

“The speed at which we are breaking ground, only a few months into sales, is without precedent in the Montreal market. We take great pride in bringing our vision for Quad Windsor and downtown Montreal to life and are eager to continue with future phases in this amazing neighbourhood,” Cadillac Fairview senior vice president of development (Eastern Canada) Brian Salpeter said.
