Developer's latest major project to add more housing supply to Edmonton
Leading developer Mattamy Homes has announced that it will be building a new townhouse complex in Edmonton, with the acquisition of a 6-acre parcel in the city’s highly sought-after Aurora neighbourhood.
“We’re excited about creating something special for homeowners in southeast Edmonton,” according to Don Barrineau, president of Mattamy’s Alberta division. “These townhomes will showcase Mattamy’s signature design style and will add a real architectural flair to the Aurora neighbourhood.”
“Overall we think it’s a great example of the enthusiasm we have for the Edmonton real estate market and how committed we are to a long and prosperous future here,” he added.

Purchased for $5.6 million, the property is an infill project comprised of two serviced multi-family sites that will be combined into one. Mattamy is slated to build a complex of 3-story, rear-lane townhouses for a total of 126 units on the site.
Construction of move-in-ready homes is scheduled to begin on June 2019, while sales are expected to commence on September 2019.
