The appointees are set to replace two retiring high-level executives
Ontario-based Frontenac Mortgage Investment Corporation has announced two new appointments in its upper echelons.
Frontenac MIC’s board of directors has announced Alex de Korte and Meghan Davis as directors of the corporation.
“Mr. de Korte and Ms. Davis have been appointed to replace two retiring directors and will stand for election, by the shareholders, at the Annual General Meeting in June 2021,” the MIC said.
Alex de Korte is a district manager of the MIC’s Canadian sales team. Prior to joining Frontenac, de Korte held various senior roles at Cisco Canada for nearly eight years.
“Mr. de Korte will serve on the governance and nominating committee,” the MIC announced.

Meghan Davis is a Chartered Professional Accountant registered with CPA Ontario, a Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner with STEP Canada, and a Registered Financial Planner. She is also the founder of Estate Tax Services Professional Corporation, and a co-owner of CMD CPA Professional Corporation.
“Ms. Davis will service on the audit committee,” the MIC said. “Her current practice focuses on financial, estate and tax planning and compliance work for individuals, trustees and executors.”
At present, Frontenac has more than $174 million in assets under management.
