Kathy Gregory, founding president and CEO of mortgage services firm Paradigm Quest, was named by the Women Executive Network (WXN) as one of the country’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women for 2012.
Kathy Gregory, founding president and CEO of mortgage services firm Paradigm Quest, was named by the Women Executive Network (WXN) as one of the country’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women for 2012.
The WXN, an organization that celebrates and honours women who are proven achievers in public, private and not-for-profit sectors has been, has been holding the awards for a decade.
This year, Gregory joins a list that includes Wendy Freeman, president of CTV News/Bell Media; Yael Cohen, founder and president of F**k Cancer; Heather Reisman, founder and CFO of Indigo Books and Music; and Jeanne Becker, host of Fashion TV, among others. This is the second time that Gregory, who founded Paradigm in 2005, was selected for the award.
“This is another outstanding group of women showing leadership in many different organizations and sectors from coast to coast,” said Pamela Jeffery, founder of WXN. “We continue to see more women in C-suite roles and these positions continue to go up.”
Earlier this year, Paradigm was among the leading companies in the mortgage industry named in the 2012 Canadian Mortgage Awards held by the Canadian Mortgage Professional Magazine. Paradigm was voted Employer of Choice for 2012.
Over the last seven years, the company has soared to success in the mortgage industry accumulating no less than $18 billion in assets with offices in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal and some 200 employees.
