CMP names the industry’s top 50 female trailblazers
Canadian Mortgage Professional is proud to announce the Top 50 Women of Influence for 2024, featuring women who’ve helped reshape Canada’s mortgage industry, push boundaries, and raise the leadership bar for the sector.
Some of the most prominent names in the industry are featured on our list for this year, including executives in the lender and broker spaces who’ve blazed a trail for women across the country.
As always, competition for places was intense in 2024, with CMP encouraging mortgage professionals to nominate outstanding female leaders from across the industry. Nominators were asked to provide details of their nominee’s achievements and other initiatives over the past 12 months, including specific professional accomplishments and contributions to the industry.
Industry leaders and previous Women of Influence selected the final list, with the judging panel made up of:
- Carla Giles, Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association
- Daniela DeTommaso, FCT
- Fiona Campbell, Manulife
- Frances Hinojosa, Tribe Financial Group
- Hali Noble, Fisgard Asset Management
- Michelle Campbell, Mortgage District
Votes for a judge’s own organization and self-voting were voided to avoid any potential conflicts of interest.
Among the names to make this year’s Women of Influence list included the following industry stalwarts:
- Meaghan Hastings, The Mortgage Coach
- Irena Sakic, Solidifi Canada
- Jennifer Watts, Community Trust
- Nicole Farrugia, Vine Group
- Vivianne Gauci, HomeEquity Bank
