Canadian Mortgage Professional (CMP), which has compiled a list of the top mortgage employers for 2024. This exclusive selection shines a light on companies that have gone above and beyond in supporting their employees’ professional journeys and well-being.
These distinguished organisations are lauded for their holistic approach to employee satisfaction, which includes:
- provision of critical tools and resources;
- development of an engaging and vibrant workplace culture;
- maintenance of a respected standing within the industry;
- delivery of comprehensive compensation and benefits;
- assurance of clear paths for career progression; and
- implementation of influential and responsive leadership.
Their recognition is the result of a rigorous survey process, with feedback gathered from thousands of employees working at 110 companies. The survey focused on evaluating employers across a spectrum of eight essential dimensions, ultimately showcasing those that offer a top work experience.
Behind the scenes: selection process for 2024 Top Mortgage Employers
The journey to identifying the 2024’s top mortgage employers began with an invitation from CMP to mortgage-related companies, urging them to detail their employment practices. Following this, an anonymous employee survey was conducted among staff at the nominated firms, assessing various aspects of their work life, including potential for advancement, benefits, pay, corporate culture, diversity and inclusion initiatives, innovative practices, reputation, and environmental sustainability.
Eligibility for the award required a minimum level of employee participation in the survey, adjusted according to the size of the company, to ensure a wide-ranging and accurate reflection of employee satisfaction levels.
Recognition was given in the form of gold, silver, and bronze awards, segmented by company size and based on the degree of employee contentment.
