Platform featuring full online purchase of pre-construction condos in Canada to open next week
A licensed Canadian brokerage and real estate marketplace has announced that it will be launching the first-ever online-exclusive purchase option for pre-built condos in the country.
In a March 27 CNW press release, Casalova revealed its alliance with Dream Maker Developments in creating a platform that will allow Canadians to make full digital purchases of units in pre-construction developments across the brokerage’s 140 cities nationwide.
The platform, which would initially feature inits for purchase at Yonge & King Urban Towns in Richmond Hill, is slated for launch next week on April 3.
“Traditionally, when potential buyers look into purchasing a unit before it is built, they have to visit a sales centre, wait hours in line only to find that units have sold out or that the floor plan they wanted is no longer available. Casalova is removing this tedious step by making the purchase process completely digital,” the news release stated.
“We’re the first brokerage and real estate marketplace in Canada to empower buyers to purchase a home online,” Casalova co-founder and CEO Ray Taaeb said. “Buying a condo, or even looking for a rental unit, is incredibly stressful and time-consuming. We want to remove the legwork and make it as easy as possible to make the purchase. This feature will give homebuyers the opportunity to research and compare all units without any pressure before making an informed decision.”
Dream Maker Developments CEO Isaac Olowolafe confirmed the company’s enthusiasm for the project.
“This digital approach appeals to a huge market of potential buyers and also saves resources that would otherwise be invested in model suites and sales centers,” Olowolafe said. “Developers are always looking for new ways to reach more homebuyers and this offering modernizes how people purchase a pre-construction condo.”
