IC Savings has announced the appointment of Agostino Tuzi (pictured) as vice president, credit.
Tuzi joins the Toronto-based company with over two decades of experience in both residential and commercial mortgage lending.
Prior to his new role, Tuzi was senior vice president at Pillar Financial Services. He also served as the national partnership director at HomeEquity Bank and played a key role in developing its national broker sales channel.
Additionally, Tuzi’s background includes a 17-year tenure at Home Trust Company. He undertook executive roles in residential underwriting and mortgage lending from early 2006 to mid-2017. He then assumed the position of senior vice president, leading the company’s residential underwriting team on a national scale.
IC Savings describes itself as one of Ontario’s best managed credit unions. It operates eight retail branches in the Greater Toronto Area, as well as a lending services division that serves clients in Ottawa and southwestern Ontario.
The company was among the recipients of Canadian Mortgage Professional’s 2022 5-Star Mortgage Products, receiving recognition for its alternative lending products.
