New accolade comes amid the private lender's strong growth
Private mortgage lender CMI Financial Group has announced a new leadership milestone through the latest Mortgage Awards of Excellence.
The organization said that it has been named “Lender of the Year: Private Lender” in the 2022 edition of the awards.
CMI added that this accolade recognizes its “dedication to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional support to the mortgage broker community, to educating and elevating the level of professionalism among industry stakeholders, and to giving back to the communities it serves.”

CMI said that the award came amid a period of robust growth, which has seen the group exceed $1 billion in lifetime fundings over the past year alone.
CMI has previously received similarly prestigious accolades from Canadian Mortgage Professional, specifically being in its “Top Mortgage Employers” list for the third straight year in 2021. CMI was also recognized by CMP as a 2022 5-Star Mortgage Employer.
