Kris Pedersen Mortgages was founded in 2007 after seeing areas in the residential lending market where clients were either being told ‘no’ (when he knew a solution was available), or given an answer which was not in their best long-term interests.

Kris has had experience in many varied areas of finance beginning in consumer finance where he was responsible for a team that was lending over $40m per month to over 3,000 customers. Kris project managed initiatives that had been employed overseas, which were light years ahead of the NZ market at that time which he still uses today when searching for new and innovative financing techniques. Kris then joined the market leading non-bank lender who had introduced products such as 100% lending and low-doc loans into the NZ mortgage landscape.
