Award-winning, experienced leader to strengthen adviser partnerships
CFML Loans has appointed experienced business development manager Ashlene Prasad as a BDM at the New Zealand-owned non-bank lender.
Prasad, who will work alongside CFML Loans BDM Yuan Fang, has been involved in the financial services industry for more than two decades, working in key sales and support roles at a number of major banks and non-banks.
In 2023, Prasad (pictured above left) won Best BDM of the Year at the New Zealand Mortgage Awards and was also named as one of NZ Adviser’s Elite Women.
Johny Kale (pictured above right), CEO of CFML Loans, welcomed Prasad to her new role.
“We are delighted to have Ashlene join the team,” Kale said. “She’s a standout in the non-bank market, bringing a wealth of experience and deep industry relationships that will be a tremendous asset to CFML. Her addition will not only strengthen our BDM team but also help position us for continued growth.”
CFML Loans’ value proposition among mortgage advisers is on the rise, as it expands its product range with the launch of innovative new products, such as the CFML 321 Loan, and strengthens its team with the addition of new business development managers to help service the needs of advisers and their clients.
Kale acknowledged the strong support CFML Loans had received from advisers for its product offerings, including the CFML Home Loan, CFML 321 Loan, and CFML Prime Loan.
“We’ve received excellent feedback from our advisers, and with Ashlene on board, we’re confident that this positive momentum will continue,” Kale said.
Prasad said she was thrilled to be joining the CFML Loans team.
“I look forward to expanding their presence in the third-party channel, while helping advisers and homeowners to achieve their goals for alternative lending solutions,” said Prasad.
“This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to CFML’s growth and be part of a team that shares my passion for the industry.”
