Just the day before, the bank’s mobile and online banking services were unavailable for several hours.
ANZ first notified its customers about the issue at 8:29pm on Facebook and then wrote on Twitter about the issues with their Visa/debit cards and assured customers their “awesome techies are on the case and are working ultra-hard to get this error resolved,” Stuff reported.
At 9:15pm, ANZ announced it had resolved the issue.

ANZ wasn’t the only one to experience a hiccup these past few days. BNZ was twice hit by an outage: on April 16, customers were locked out of their internet and mobile banking for several hours, and four days after, customers were prevented from paying with credit cards for over two hours, Stuff reported.
