It will introduce unique credit model in new market
SME lender Bizcap has expanded its reach outside of Australasia with its official launch in the UK.
A news release from the company said it is entering the UK market as part of a larger goal to support small businesses on a global scale.
In the UK, Bizcap will leverage its “proven success” in Australia and New Zealand to become “a reliable and innovative funding source,” the company said.
Bizcap was founded in 2019 and has since served over 21,000 customers. The business markets itself as an “open-minded lender” due to its commitment to “saying ‘yes’ more often.”
Unlike traditional lenders, which rely on metrics such as existing loans and credit scores, Bizcap utilises a unique model for credit assessment and risk evaluation.
This method is focused on understanding customers “beyond the numbers,” according to co-founder Zalman Blachman (pictured above).
Bizcap marks “thrilling milestone” with UK expansion
Commenting on the UK launch, Blachman said he is eager to introduce Bizcap’s unique credit model in the UK.
He also called the expansion a “thrilling milestone” and said the company’s “trend and tested model of open-minded lending” will give them a competitive edge in the market.
Sasha Berg, managing director of Bizcap UK, also spoke of how the new venture will impact local businesses.
“We understand the challenges that entrepreneurs face, and Bizcap is here to provide not just funding but a partner in their journey,” said Berg. “With our proven track record, we look forward to being a catalyst for growth in the UK market.”
