Go Lend launches peer-to-peer lending platform with FMA approval

Non-bank mortgage lender Arrow Finance has officially rebranded as Go Lend, unveiling a peer-to-peer lending platform designed to empower retail investors and support mortgage lending.

The platform, licensed by the Financial Markets Authority (FMA), aims to provide an innovative approach to mortgage funding.

“We are really thrilled with our online platform which enables retail investors to buy portions of mortgage loans down to as small as $1,000,” said Go Lend CEO Luke Jackson (pictured above left). “This funding structure will enable Go Lend to achieve its growth targets while providing great returns to New Zealanders.”

Strong foundation with adviser support

Over the past 18 months, Arrow Finance has built a robust mortgage book, establishing strong relationships with a wide network of mortgage advisers.

“These adviser relationships are an integral part of our business, and we look forward to continuing to assist the mortgage advising market now through Go Lend,” Jackson said.

The platform allows retail investors to purchase portions of mortgage loans, but Go Lend itself ensures the initial funding is secured.

Certainty in funding for borrowers

To provide stability for borrowers and advisers, Go Lend commits its own capital during loan drawdowns.

“We appreciate the urgency needed at loan drawdown time and the certainty of funding that borrowers require,” said Ross Brogden (pictured above right), Go Lend’s head of credit and operations. “This is why Go Lend will continue to initially fund loans, giving our advisers and their clients the certainty they need.”

Innovating mortgage investment

The launch of Go Lend represents a significant step forward in peer-to-peer mortgage investment, combining technology with flexible lending solutions. Retail investors can now diversify their portfolios while Go Lend’s approach ensures reliable funding for borrowers.
